edgar resizes his images to be ~100MB less than 4GB with parted so that important stuff doesn't get truncated

SD card flashing instructions

"type 36" is arbitrary number just so mac OSX doesn't recognize card. OSX won't write to a mounted disk and no way to 
unmount, or something. dd should overwrite partition table anyway.
