A good example of what an engineer goes through in designing a prototype part. This part is to be used as a spindle for a CNC_mill. Well written, and contains some good ideas that I plan on stealing.

Same engineer, this document describes a milling machine based on his new machine tool way technology. Can be used with viscoelastic damping technology.
